PRZEKRÓJ Foundation
PRZEKRÓJ Foundation was established in 2018 by Tomek Niewiadomski. The Foundation grew out of Poland’s oldest magazine about society and culture. Today we are a modern and holistic center for those who want to consciously co-create positive changes within and around themselves.
Przekrój Magazine provides content of the highest quality—essays, socio-cultural and scientific interviews, literature, art, and humorous texts. We approach each topic seriously, while maintaining a light and playful style specific to Przekrój.

Editor and Proofreader

Responsibilities
- editing, proofreading, and fact-checking of English-language texts for the print version of Przekrój Magazine (and possibly the online version)
- writing leads, bios, social media posts, newsletters, and other ad hoc texts
- coming up with clever and witty headlines
What we’re looking for
- a native speaker of English
- knowledge of American English (Chicago Manual of Style)
- excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- a Bachelor’s degree
- at least two years of professional experience in print or online journalism
- strong attention to detail (please include the word “Fafik” in the subject line)
- creative thinking
- readiness to work under pressure
- passion for literature, art, psychology, philosophy, wellbeing
- curiosity and knowledge about the world in all its diversity
- a friendly, open, positive attitude
