Position: Programming Coordinator
Reporting line: Channel Editor Poland
Job description:
The role is to provide support for programming, schedules and monthly listings activities for entertainment channels, to insert monthly schedules into programming systems, to communicate highlights, to collect market information and prepare ratings research reports. This role incorporates cooperation with all departments to ensure clear communication about content.
Main tasks:
• Providing support for development and communication of monthly schedules
• Create and communicate highlights, premiere list and listings documents
• Collect information on content, publicity and creativity materials
• Research, screen and evaluate available content
• Provide profound information on channels’ content to other departments
• Insert schedule into the programming systems and manage all rights
• Work with short form scheduling and monitor an effective implementation of on air promotion strategy
• Prepare ratings research reports and ad hoc analysis
• Collect information about market and competition, maintain an up-to-date and thorough knowledge of the Poland TV market by studying ratings and schedules of competitors
Requirements:
• One year minimum proven experience on Programming Coordinator or similar position for thematic TV channel(s), preferably entertainment programming
• Proven experience in market research, ratings reports and TV viewership analysis
• Deep knowledge of TV market, viewers’ needs and TV trends
• An eye for details and good team working skills
• Very good analytical skills
• TV enthusiast and TV content fan
• Ability to manage projects and meet the deadlines
• An excellent command of English both written and verbal.
