ACQUISITION SUPERVISOR

Currently we are searching for: Acquisitions Supervisor, who will be reporting to Programming & Acquisition Director Central Europe who is responsible for television content acquisitions, negotiations, budgets and contracts management.
This role incorporates providing support for acquisitions related activities, sharing content information and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare agreement proposals and coordinate negotiations for FIC channels in Central Europe under supervision of Programming & Acquisition Director CE,
- Ensure the coordination between internal departments and suppliers, particularly in the phases of preparation and oversight of the ‘deal memo’, up to the enhancement of the ‘long form agreement’,
- Execute contracts by liaising with Legal and Financial Departments,
- Coordinate Purchase Orders and payment schedules,
- Maintain and optimize acquisition budgets, negotiating with suppliers with aim to obtain the best conditions,
- Ensure constant and correct updates of databases (masterdeal and other content documentation) and provide information for rights management systems,
- Ensure compliance with minimum rights strategy and budget requirements,
- Source acquisitions from vendors and maintain program availability lists,
- Ensure coordination and correct internal communication between different departments involved in the acquisition process (Programming, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Traffic) with particular reference to the requests of materials and check of the invoices,
- Coordinate contacts with Vendors and international teams, provide content information and contract related support as required,
- Cooperates with the Director in the definition of purchase strategies in the short and mid-term, and in the relationship with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years proven international experience on Acquisition Supervisor or similar position for TV channel(s)
- An excellent command of English both written and verbal
- TV enthusiast and TV content fan
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing information and databases
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced work environment and meet the deadlines
- Ability to work independently, to be a self-starter with the skills to identify new business opportunities
