SUBTITLING PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS - TECHNICAL CHECKS

The Role
We are looking for a production assistant to join our Warsaw team, assuring the timely and accurate delivery of international subtitling projects. The key focus for this role is checking and editing subtitle files in various languages to comply with technical specifications. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, in order to ensure the subtitles our clients broadcast on media platforms around the world meet our exacting standards.
You will be working in a dynamic, international business; good communication skills in English are essential. Knowledge of other European languages would also be advantageous, especially Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish, but this is not a requirement – this is not a linguistic proofreading role. Above all we are looking for someone focused, adaptable and organised, who functions well under time pressure and will not be deterred by repetitive screen work.
You will have the opportunity to work with subtitles for a variety of film, television and video material. Relevant experience would be an advantage, but it is more important to be quick to learn and assimilate new tasks, software and processes. Training will be provided.
